January Newsletter
Our 4th grade students are learning about Harriet Tubman in Social Studies. The Harriet Tubman Museum & Educational Center had this mural done in 2019, but recently it has gone viral on Facebook.

Here is the December newsletter that went home with students yesterday. We also have our holiday dress-up days listed.
The holidays are approaching, and at the top of our students' wish lists are cell phones and tablets (if they don't have them already). Join us for a Lunch and Learn about keeping our children safe online. We will have an expert speaker to inform us about the dangers children face online and what parents can do to protect them when they are on the internet. Katie Rumsey is a SANE Nurse at the Gateway Center. She has a wealth of knowledge about this topic and has been generous enough with her time to offer two sessions on Wednesday, December 8, one at 11:30 and one at 12:15. Click the link to register for this timely and important event. (Link is posted on Webpage as well as Facebook.)
Mrs. Lewis' 4th and 5th Grade WIN time students created this beautiful display for Veteran's Day.
Just have to "BRAG ON" our students!
Congratulations!
Parents, don't forget to download the app for Crisp County Schools. Receive push notifications and stay up-to-date for news and events. You can find this for Android or Apple devices. Just search for "Crisp County Schools".
November is Picture Book Month. What a great way to spend time with family. Reading together just 15 minutes a day can help your young reader so much! Our friends at Capstone created this infographic to share. [Remember CCES is doing the 25 book club for the year this can also help them on their way to their 25! See the Crisp Elementary Website for more information.]
Just have to “BRAG ON” our students!
