Due to the anticipated impact from the winter storm in our area, Crisp County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd. This closure includes Crisp County Early Learning Academy. Please be safe and we hope to see everyone back at school on Thursday, January 23rd. In response to the impact of the expected weather forecast and school closures, Crisp County Schools will be distributing meal bags today, Monday, January 20th at the old middle school main entrance area (1116 East 24th Avenue) from 12-2. These meals are for students ages 2-18. Students do not have to be present to pickup meals. More information about the expected school closures will be released after the 12:30 weather briefing with EMA officials.
We are monitoring the timing and magnitude of potential weather impacts for our community. We are relying on weather information from the National Weather Service and our local EMA Director.
